It was a close race! I mean really close! But in the end Kelsey Banks passed Ashley’s fierce mohawk yesterday with her classic look she called “The Carrie Underwood”. That’s Kelsey’s fourth win in a row and since it’s best out of seven, our contest has come to an end and KELSEY BANKS IS OUR WINNER!
Congratulations Kelsey! You’ve won four products from Aveda’s amazing Smooth Infusion line and an Infrashine Flat Iron!!!
And thank you so much to all the other participants for you’re amazing, creative styles! This has been SO FUN!

The people have spoken and Kelsey Banks takes another win for the day with her double bun! Yesterday the competition was intense! We received over 100 votes! So far both days Kelsey’s closest competitor has been Stephanie (#2). These two ladies are giving a good fight! They’ve been practicing! BUT everyday is a new day and there’s still 5 more days to be voted on. Yesterday we got 2 new competitors!
Will one of our new girls steal the throne from Kelsey?! Will Stephanie pull ahead in today’s poll?!! What do these girls have up their sleeves for today?!! Oh the drama!!!!

What’s he hottest look out there right now? Pastels. You can’t flip through any fashion magazine without seeing them and they’re all over the runway.
Want to try the look without taking the permanent plunge? Hair chalking is one way to do it. All you need is a spray bottle a curling iron and some artists pastels.
Lightly spray the hair with water first. Take desired color and rub onto the hair. Lighter hair will allow the color to show up more but you can still achieve the look on dark hair. (See mine below)
Then use a curling iron to style and set the color.
It will only last until you wash it and be sure not so wear white. The chalk will get on your clothes.
