Gaining confidence as a hair stylist requires concentrated, hands on experience. Yet so many apprenticeship programs offer inconsistent education that can only be experienced if you spend years assisting. We know how uninspiring and financially unsustainable that can be. (Especially with the seemingly never-ending rising cost of living in the Bay Area!) You want to hone your skill thoroughly AND quickly. We believe every stylist should have the opportunity and support to be creative and follow their passion, even in the early years of their career… The Citrus Academy is designed to fast track your career to long term success as a professional and an artist.
How It Works:
Enhance your foundational skillset in all areas of hair artistry by completing our Academy Diploma Course consisting of five full weeks of professional development, cutting, and color education. Each program lesson is a full day, interactive workshop including theory and practical application on mannequins and live models.
Gain behind the chair experience working on real clients with the support of your education team in our Advanced New Talent Program.

Pre-Requisite: Current CA cosmetology license required. No formal experience is necessary, although every learner will be required to be hard working and passionate about hair!
