Candice Gliatto
Candice Gliatto, owner of Citrus Salon, brings close to a decade of
experience and a strong background in styling. She began her career at a
young age, following her passion for hair design by using her entrepreneurial
spirit to open her very own Citrus Salon in 2009.

Candice is extremely passionate about her work and is known for "liking to
do the hard stuff" when it comes to creative cuts, color, and styling.  She
always keeps up to date in the latest techniques and treatments and is
certified in the most high quality, advanced hair extension and Brazilian
Straightening systems.  Candice will allow nothing but the best quality in her
salon and will make sure you love your hair when you walk out her door.

Candice's resume includes the MTZO Martinez Opera, where she uses her
artistic skill and vision to create character looks with hair and make up.  She
has worked with singers from around the country on full productions such as
"The Lovely Galetau", "La Traviata", and "Madam Butterfly"  Other artistic
hair ventures include working with fashion models on photos shoots not only
creating their hair and makeup looks but using her art direction skills to
create themes and styles for the photo shoot itself.  Candice is a member of
the Martinez Arts Association, her medium being hair, face and body art.

Her artistic skill has led not only to the success of her hair salon, but also the
success of an art gallery right in the salon itself.   She has been featured in
the local Gazette for her continuous involvement with the community and
incorporating various mediums of art and music into her salon.

Candice has an eye for the latest fashion and trends in hair, but also works
wonders on the most classic of styles. Individual tastes and personality are
what she looks for when creating a style unique to each client.

Tessa Rangel
As a child, Tessa was the first to cut her dolls hair and put on her Mom’s
makeup. She was born to be in this business.

Tessa started in the beauty industry as a Makeup Artist for MAC Cosmetics.
She moved up the ladder quickly and before Tessa knew it she was
managing a MAC Cosmetic counter. She worked with the company for over
three years where, amongst other things, she gained and polished her
makeup skill. After leaving the company to go to Cosmetology school so she
could do hair, Tessa continued to do freelance makeup. Tessa is very
passionate about doing makeup for any event. It is her paint and a huge part
of her creative outlet.

After finishing Cosmetology School Tessa assisted and trained under a Top
Stylist in Lafayette. There, she strengthened her hair cutting as well as
coloring skills. She continued to educate herself while working in the salon in
Lafayette by taking additional cut, color, texture, and styling classes. Tessa
will continue to educate herself to keep up to date with the most current
trends and styles.

Tessa’s main goal was to end up in a salon in her hometown of Martinez. She
wants to be a part of this community that she loves. Now Tessa feels she is
in the perfect salon, in the best little city in the world. She is so happy to be
working next to Candice, who is as passionate about this industry as she is.
